Transgender Day of Remembrance: November 20

From France to Kenya, people from all over the world will participate in the 11th annual Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20. The event was spearheaded to pay respect to those needlessly killed by hate crimes against the transgender community, and to call attention to the threat of violence faced by gender-variant people.
