About Atlanta Steering Committee

Welcome to the Human Rights Campaign Atlanta community website.  The HRC Atlanta Steering Committee is a diverse volunteer group of individuals working each and every day to bring the important work of HRC to gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and straight allies in the region. 

Throughtout the year, HRC Atlanta hosts sponsors a variety of event and programs for the community.  Whether it's raising awareness through community meet-and-greets and outreach events, educating the community and our allies through town hall meetings and panel discussions, partnering with area organizations, or celebrating our diversity through event, HRC offers an array of opportunities for our diverse community to get involved and make a difference.

In addition to hosting local programs and events, the HRC Atlanta volunteer group works to support the missions and goals of HRC at the national level, and to provide local leadership and advocacy for HRC objectives on the federal and state level.
