Dr. James Matthew Garrett - Dan Bradley Humanitarian Award

It is with deep respect and profound gratitude that we announce the 2026 Dan Bradley Humanitarian Award will be posthumously awarded to Dr. James Matthew Garrett at the HRC Atlanta Dinner on Saturday, May 2. A tireless advocate for equality, Matt's legacy is defined by courage, vision, and an unwavering commitment to making a difference. He spent over two decades serving the LGBTQ+ community and the Human Rights Campaign in numerous leadership roles, eventually serving on HRC's Board of Directors. Whether through advocacy, mentorship, public service, or philanthropy, Matt's leadership helped expand understanding, shift hearts and minds, and create lasting protections for LGBTQ+ people. The cornerstone of Matt's leadership was making every individual feel seen and valued. Although he is no longer with us, Matt left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of service, authenticity, and compassion will continue to light the way. Please join us in honoring and celebrating the life and enduring impact of Dr. James Matthew Garrett.

Kelley Robinson - HRC President

Kelley Robinson is a trailblazing advocate and leader in the fight for human rights. As the President of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), she is the first Black, queer woman to hold this position. HRC is the largest civil rights organization in the United States, dedicated to achieving equality and liberation for LGBTQ+ individuals. With over 15 years of experience, Robinson has spearheaded numerous successful campaigns for LGBTQ+, racial, and gender equity. As a mark of her influence, Robinson was named to the 2024 TIME100. A powerful and inspiring speaker, Robinson regularly appears in national and international media outlets, including MSNBC, CNN, Sirius XM, The New York Times, The Washington Post and Politico. She previously served as the Executive Director of Planned Parenthood Action Fund, where she advanced the movement for reproductive justice. Robinson is also currently serving as a Senior Fellow at the Kettering Foundation, underscoring the urgency of centering LGBTQ+ rights in the fight for democracy.

Eboni K. Williams - Special Guest

Eboni K. Williams is an American lawyer, author and television host. She hosts and is executive producer of Equal Justice with Judge Eboni K. Williams, a nationally syndicated court television show. Additionally, she was host and executive producer of the NAACP Image Award winning, Holding Court with Eboni K. Williams. In addition to frequently guest hosting The View and The Breakfast Club, Williams starred on season 13 of“TheReal Housewives of New York City”, becoming the show’s first Black cast member ever. Her bestselling book, Bet on Black: The Good News About Being Black in America hit shelves in January 2023. The paperback version will be released in July 2025. Eboni is a proud and active member of the Pi Kappa Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and The Greater New York Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. She is also a NYC Gender Equity Commissioner. Williams holds a Bachelor’s degree in Black and African Studies from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, and an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Benedict College. She currently lives and owns in Harlem, USA.

Blake Mitchell - Leon Allen and Winston Johnson Community Leadership Award

Blake Mitchell (they/he) is a nonprofit leader, keynote speaker, and strategic consultant whose work centers on building spaces where LGBTQ+ people, especially young people, can thrive as their most authentic selves. As Founder of Brave Trails in the Southeast, Blake spearheaded the organization's expansion to Georgia, launching Atlanta-based Family Camp and Summer Camp programs for LGBTQ+ youth and families, alongside year-round leadership and community programming. The inaugural Southeast camp served 67 queer youth from 14 states, with plans to grow to 100 campers in 2026. Blake's commitment to Georgia extends into the civic arena. In 2022, they served as Operations Manager for Stacey Abrams' gubernatorial campaign, leading field operations and supporting LGBTQ+ outreach statewide. Since 2016, Blake has performed as drag artist Mary Lou Pearl, using the stage as a platform for storytelling, education, and fundraising in service of queer joy. Earlier in their career, Blake spent eight years at Google leading global HR initiatives across the US, Singapore, and the UK, and chaired the company's LGBTQ+ ERG in San Francisco. They began their career in Los Angeles at Participant Media and hold bachelor's degrees in International Business, Finance, and Film & Television from the University of Georgia.

Dana Goldberg - Comedian / “Out100” Honoree

As seen on ABC, TBS, and Last Comic Standing, Dana Goldberg is a force of nature on stage. With performances at the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, The Comedy Festival produced by TBS and HBO, and the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, her quick wit and playful stage presence have earned her loyal fans across the world. In addition to headlining theaters and festivals, Dana has performed at and emceed hundreds of high-profile events, sharing the national stage with luminaries like President Barack Obama, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Meryl Streep, Carol Burnett, Sir Elton John and countless others. Combining her gift of humor with humanitarian efforts, Dana has raised over $70M for non-profits around the country in the fight for LGBTQ rights, women's health, and HIV/AIDS education and prevention...just to name a few. With over 150,000 followers, Dana was recently named to OutMagazine’s Out100 List, Curve Magazine’s Power List and GO Magazine’s 100 Women We Love. She is the co-host of the top-rated news podcast The Daily Beans (250,000 weekly downloads) and is currently developing her first TV pilot with Soto Productions (Tony Award winning Suffs The Musical and Laura Benanti’s Nobody Cares).

VINCINT - Performance

VINCINT has captivated millions across the globe with big-hearted pop music. In 2022 “Higher”, the lead single of their debut album The Will Be Tears, became an anthem for pride celebrations across the world. Since then they’ve had their first North America headline tour, supported MAX on tour, made their Coachella debut and performed to over 40,000 fans across the country. Recently VINCINT has released the first two singles off their forthcoming project, Romance and Take Me Home.
